Every autumn, a phenomenal migration of raptors takes place in Batumi, by the Black Sea. Barbara De Coninck, curator, author and ornithophile, Georgian writer, photographer and bird expert, Archil Kikodze and radio producer Sara Debroey team up to explore the traces of birdlife in Georgian culture. Photographic work will be combined with a podcast and two new non-fiction texts.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Sunday 22 October at 17:30 (Kamermuziekzaal Concertgebouw Bruges). Register here. For the opening of the exhibition, Chantal Pattyn will be in conversation with the project's key participants (followed by a free visit to the exhibition and a drink at the café). You can visit the exhibition itself as early as Saturday October 21.
