GRATIS (ZONDER RESERVATIE)

Voor DRUMMING XXL werkt P.A.R.T.S samen met het Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris en École des Sables, het International Centre for Traditional & Contemporary African Dances, opgericht in Toubab Dialaw, Senegal door Germaine Acogny.

DRUMMING XXL brengt 65 performers van de 3 scholen samen voor deze uitzonderlijke versie van Drumming, gecreëerd door Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker en Rosas in augustus 1998, op muziek van Steve Reich.

Voor europalia art2gether werken de dansers van de verschillende scholen aan een nieuwe versie onder leiding van Clinton Stringer. Ze recreëren verschillende delen van het originele stuk, maken hun eigen transformaties van het originele materiaal, creëren duetten en trio's en gebruiken de onderliggende structuren van de originele choreografie om nieuwe constructies te creëren.

Houd onze communicatie in de gaten in de dagen voorafgaand aan DRUMMING XXL; dit is een performance in de openlucht en weersomstandigheden kunnen van invloed zijn op het schema.
